There’s a lot of money floating around this AI Boom.
The sad part is, none of it is in your pockets. Aaaaand, on top of it, you may be writing a newsletter on lifestyle/cooking/remote-work/etc, so no dice in switching to AI or tech content.
No worries, I’m here to guide you on how to incorporate AI supported ads with your existing content. The overall topic of “How to make money with AI” has been covered in many publications. Most of it revolves around creating something that is AI centric - such as “build an AI app” or “use AI to generate content”.
What if you already have content such as a Substack newsletter? If you have a newsletter, youtube channel, online course, digital product, ebook… read on.

Part 1 of 3 - Startup Feature Launch
As mentioned in a previous newsletter, I am heading to Doha (Qatar) at the end of February to showcase NeuralDreams at the WebSummit.
There are 3 product features we are launching as forming the core product offering.
First one we announce today is a contextualized Ad Delivery Network.
What is special:
Purpose built to support modern GenAI apps, chatbots, digital assistants.
Native support for complex/layered context relevancy via the UCIS context engine (User Context, Intent & Sentiment).
Native support for ingesting and pre-processing content such as Substack Newsletters or Youtube videos.
Do you run ads on your newsletters? Do you want to promote your own products or have ads provided by an Ad Network? A combination?
Contextualized Ads with Substack Newsletters
(This paragraph covers a preview of an upcoming feature for NeuralDreams platform. The feature is being launched at the Doha (Qatar) Websummit in Feb 26/29 2024).
Existing Substack newsletters’ header has a search option (see magnifying glass) and an “Archive” option.
The Archive option shows a listing of your posts, while the Substack search function will query the wider Substack database. It will list your posts at top, however the moment somebody uses said search, the user “has left the building” - ie, they are outside of your newsletter, and in the substack ecosystem.
Above is an example of the “Archive” option; note as well the magnifying glass, which leads to the Substack discovery tool.
What we want is 1) a search that contrains the context to just your newsletter articles and 2) the ability to upsell or advertise based on the context the person is looking for.
Here is how to achieve both goals with the new NeuralDreams Ad Network integration of Substack Newsletters workflow:
Each NeuralDreams application receives an automatic unique email address - you can find this in the app settings.
Take this email address and subscribe it to your Substack newsletters.Add the NeuralDreams link to the top header of your Newsletter. (Go to your Settings > Website > Navigation > “New Link”.
That’s it.
Here is a an example of searching for one of my previous newsletter issues.
